There is only one public road in Noetzie, the "Old Wagon Road," which is a municipal street leading from the end of Divisional Road No. 1771 to the beach . Due to its steepness, narrowness, and slippery surface, vehicles over 3 tons are not allowed on this road . Its use is limited to beach and river residents, their guests, service vehicles, and authorized construction and maintenance vehicles .
The demarcated parking bays on the west side of the Old Wagon Road are reserved for beach property owners on a first-come, first-served basis . Guests of these owners are not permitted to park in these bays .
When two vehicles meet on the Old Wagon Road or any track, the ascending vehicle must reverse to allow the other to pass .
Driving or parking on the beach is strictly prohibited unless you have a valid permit . Only owners of specific erven (27,28, 29, 30, 31, 32, and 33) are eligible for these permits, which are obtained on their behalf by the NCOA . Beach driving must be kept to an absolute minimum to protect the sensitive flora and fauna in this littoral zone . Driving on the beach without a permit can result in severe penalties, including vehicle confiscation or substantial fines .
Owners of erven 18, 19, 22, 85, and 86 access their properties via a road from the headland and do not qualify for beach driving permits .
River properties are accessed via a private road branching off the Old Wagon Road . This road is locked, and access is exclusive to property owners along the river . The road is maintained by the Home Services Association (HSA), and permission for its use must be obtained from them . Vehicles over 1.5 tons are prohibited, and construction material transportation is restricted to vehicles within this weight limit and requires HSA permission .
The river track ends where it re-enters private properties, and further access to upstream stands is only possible on foot along the boardwalk running alongside the Nature Reserve . Parking for these properties is limited to a designated area and is severely restricted .
